Fees and Payments
We make every effort to keep the cost of medical care down. You can help by paying upon completion of your visit. Billing is extremely costly, and we strive to minimize costs whenever possible.
Cosmetic Procedures nust be paid in full on the day of service prior to treatment. This includes: elective Fractional Laser Resurfacing, Pulsed Dye Laser Surgery, Botox® Cosmetic, MegaPeel® MicroDermabrasion, Glycolic Acid Peels, Fat Transfers, Radiesse, Restylane, Collagen & Sclerotherapy injections, and any other minor elective medically unnecessary procedures.
Payment will be required 14 days in advance for major cosmetic procedures such as LipoSculpture, Chemical Peels and Eyelid Rejuvenaion.
Biopsies are sent to an independent Dermatopathologist for slide preparation and interpretation. There will be an additional pathology fee which will generally be billed to your carrier by the outside lab.
Depending on your coverage you may be responsible for a portion or all of these charges.
Appointment Cancellations
Please note, to better serve out patients, we have instituted a $50 Appointment Cancellation Fee for regular appointments that are not canceled within 24 hours of your scheduled time, and a $150 fee for failure to cancel a Surgical Appointment within 24 hours.
With the shortage of Dermatologists in the Southtowns, it is extremely important that our appointment times are kept or opened up with enough notice so that another patient can utilize the time slot. These cancellation fees will be payable prior to the scheduling of another appointment and are generally not reimbursable by most insurance carriers.
As long as you provide 24 hours notice you will not be assessed a cancellation fee. We will consider waivers to this policy on a case by case basis with documented hardship or exceptional conditions (such as weather).
